SEIBIKAI ORTHODONTIC CLINIC
Seibikai Orthodontic Center(SOC) was founded by Dr. Keishi Matsumoto in 1967 in Shinjuku that is the central district of Tokyo, capital of Japan. Dr. Keishi Matsumoto mostly had the orthodontic training from his father Dr. Shigeaki Matsumoto who was the student of Dr. E. H. Angle who is called "Father of orthodontics". Dr. Shigeaki Matsumoto started the Edgewise treatment in Japan in 1927 and he was one of the pioneer of the orthodontics in Japan.
Dr. Keishi Matsumoto
Dr. Keishi Matsumoto is also one the pioneer of the specialists of the orthodontics in Japan. Dr. Keishi Matsumoto has been making the lots of contributions not only to orthodontics world but also to social works. In 1987 and 1988 he was the president of Japanese Association of Orthodontists(JAO). Still he is enjoying the busy time as foundation chairman that is one of the most traditional and also the most contemporary orthodontic office.
Dr.Kazunobu Yoneyama
Dr.Kazunobu Yoneyama joined to SOC in 1975. He got the orthodontic training at SOC and Dr. Hito Suyehiro who used to have several offices in Washington DC and Maryland. Now Dr.Yoneyama is the clinic chief of SOC. He was also vice president of Japanese Association of Orthodontists (JAO). Both of them are the international member of American Association of Orthodontists. Two other orthodontists are working at SOC. There is no doubt that SOC is one of the most sophisticated orthodontic office in Japan. In 2007, the SOC moved to the new office, and office’s name was changed to “Seibikai Orthodontic Clinic”.
